Bicentennial Celebration Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church

Celebration Sunday!

After having numerous celebratory events within the church throughout 2024, this Sunday marks the 200th anniversary of the founding of a Methodist Society in Tallahassee in September 1824. The service will be highlighted with the delivery of the sermon by the Reverend Tom Berlin, Bishop of the Florida Methodist Conference.

The liturgy and processional for the 11:00 Bicentennial Celebration service will begin at 10:30 at the site of the first church (the southwest corner of what is now Bronough Street and Park Avenue) with prayer and bagpipe music.
