DJ DEMP Back-to-School Supply Giveaway

You’re invited to join us for the 2024 DJ DEMP Back-to-School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, July 27th, from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Moon. The DJ DEMP Foundation will be giving away backpacks and school supplies to over 1000 local students. This event aims to ensure student readiness for academic success. Notably, we have successfully reached and registered 1002 students, with over 94% coming from the following zip codes: 32301, 32303, 32304, 32305, and 32310.

This school supply giveaway is poised to have a significant impact on our community, with over 64% of our registered students reporting a household income of less than $25,000 per year. We are truly reaching underserved and underrepresented families in Leon County. Your presence at the event will provide encouragement and support to the students as they receive the necessary tools to succeed in the upcoming school year. Thank you.
