Tallahassee and Leon County have a rich religious history, encompassing many historic sites of various denominations spread throughout the region.

Join Goodwood Museum and Shannon Kuch, executive director of Tallahassee Trust For Historic Preservation in the Goodwood Carriage House for an exploration of the sacred spaces that have been woven into Leon County’s historic tapestry.

By focusing on sites that have been recorded in the historical record, we’ll learn about the history and development of the area’s historic sacred sites, many of which are still in use to this day.

Tallahassee Trust for Historic Preservation is a nonprofit organization that advances historic preservation in Tallahassee and the surrounding areas by providing opportunities for the community to learn about history and heritage.
